From neutrality to engagement
ISPSO European Regional Meeting, Geneva
15-17 March 2019
We are pleased to announce, the 2019 ISPSO’s European Regional Meeting with the theme “From neutrality to engagement” will take place in Geneva from March 15 to March 17, 2019.
ISPSO’s European Regional Meeting 2019 is being designed with the idea to create a platform to engage participants into discussions and shared experience, to evoke thoughts, feelings and fantasies and to offer learning, as we explore the dynamics of the tension between neutrality and engagement within individual, organizational and societal contexts. To enable such an engagement, the meeting will take place within the settings likely to evoke associations and emotions around the theme; Switzerland, Geneva, the United Nations, the International Red Cross, and the Ecumenical Centre at Chateau Bossey, where our discussions will be held.
Overlooking Lake Geneva and Alps, a reflective and charming setting just 15 minutes from the Geneva Airport, Chateau de Bossey has been the international centre for encounter, dialogue and academic formation since 1946. https://www.chateaudebossey.ch
The key parts of the event will be the tour of the United Nations European Headquarters, especially tailored for ISPSO, a Social Dreaming Matrix and two days of interactive sessions. We have invited excellent scholars and practitioners intimately related to and familiar with the theme, to help us design what we hope will become a truly engaging program.
ERM 2019 will be preceded by the professional development workshops on Dynamics of Consulting led by Larry Hirschhorn and on Social Dreaming, led by Nicola Wreford-Howard, on March 14 and 15, 2019.
The detailed program and booking information will be available in November 2018.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
