ISPSO Forum #3 - 9th May 2024

The third ISPSO Forum.

The topic for discussion is Sigmund Freud’s text ‘Civilization and its Discontents’.
It will be discussed by our esteemed colleagues Richard Morgan Jones and Aaron Nurick. The work appears in the Standard Edition (Vol XXI) and is also available as a short book. A publicly sourced pdf of the full work has been circulated on the listerve by the forum moderator James Walker.

This Forum is obviously timely since the topic corresponds with the theme of this year’s Annual Meeting: ‘Civilizations and their Discontents’, which gives a plural connotation to Freud’s title.

The discussion webinar will be held on May 9^th at 6pm UTC time.
